An intensive course for serious cooks
The Professional Certified Diploma in Catering
is a unique course. It is suitable for those wishing to start
their own business in catering, Gastro Pub, licenced restaurant
or hotel. It is also suitable for those wishing to change
career and manage a catering establishment. It has three elements:
the Licence (this training course meets the requirements of
the new Licencing Act ); the BIIAB Advanced Level 3 Certificate
in Licenced Hospitality and the BIIAB Catering Diploma. The
course takes place over 24 days, Sunday through to Friday
afternoon for the four weeks. It is continually assessed as
well as having a number of examinations on the last week along
with a three day work placement in one of our top restaurants.
Because of the intensity of the course and the large amount
of pair and individual work, we only take a maximum of eight
students. This is a recognised accredited course which will
be available from spring next year and bookings may be taken
now pending our BIIAB registration.
This course requires prior home study and a project to be
finalised during the 4 weeks. The cost is £3026 including
all tuition, course materials, books, use of equipment PLUS
£678 BIIAB examination fees.
