I attended with a friend and we loved the patisserie course. It pushed us both in terms of prepping lots of different pastries, timing, staying focused! Great that the dishes were taken and re-appeared clean! Thanks

Loved my day there and have used the skills learned many times since, which is the true test of its success. Would never have thought of using a paintbrush as a pastry brush - much better and its this sort of tip that's really useful. I cook a lot at home but never bothered with patisserie before as too many stages and fiddly, but learning that it can be done over days was a real bonus.

This was the best of the 4 courses I have done at Ashburton. Both my sister and I came away thinking what a great day we'd had. The course was inspiring and we have taken away a lot of ideas for future cooking. One of the main things it showed me was that patisserie is not as difficult as I thought and that it is something I can do at home on my own. The greeting I received from the front desk upon my arrival was very welcoming. The facilities were excellent and I did not see anything that I would want to change. I was very impressed by how well the kitchen was run. The whole operation was very slick helped in a huge part by the two gentleman helping with running the kitchen. I don't know what I was expecting but it was a far better experience than I expected.
