I have thoroughly enjoyed the patisserie course, it is full of excellent recipes for keen bakers and patissiers alike. The pace of the course was excellent and the Pastry Chef had a bag full of tricks and tips to help us achieve the best results possible. “Dangerously tasty baked goods”
Recommend the five-day patisserie course - baking all day with top quality ingredients, equipment and expert guidance is heavenly - and all against the backdrop of the beautiful Devon countryside. Beware of all those dangerously tasty baked goods though - I went running down those lovely country lanes every morning before brekkie in an attempt to justify the indulgence!

“ I feel inspired ”
What a fantastic course, after just coming off the week long patisserie course I feel inspired to try all of my recipes and build upon my knowledge. The tutors passion for food really does rub off. I am an amateur when it comes to baking and I have had my fair share of disasters in the kitchen at home, however the tutors encouragement and motivation really gave a mass of confidence. The only negative comment I have is the 4lbs of weight I put on from all of the amazing food. I will undoubtedly be coming to your school again

“I was truly inspired and exhilarated”
For the quality of teaching, the standard of the kitchen, the no weighing up or washing up (truly great!), quality of ingredients it was fabulous value for money. This is the first time I have taken any kind of cookery course or even stepped foot in a kitchen bigger than mine at home and I was truly inspired and exhilarated when I came away from Ashburton. It was a dream week for me and I have learnt so much- thankfully I have conscientious notes, photos and the usb to remind myself and get practising what I made!

“Fantastic 5 days”
I had a lovely time, learnt an enormous amount and yet realise I still know so little. The place is wonderful, great facility and everyone at the school and the accommodation seemed dedicated to ensuring I had a great time. That said I have to make special mention of Tom who was an excellent instructor, full of knowledge, passion and skills. Not only did he deliver an excellent course, he delivered it without a hint of arrogance. His skills are light years away from mine but he never made me feel like that, it really encourages you to have a go without fear of failure. Fantastic 5 days and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to discover a little bit more about Patisserie.
