Hot Stuff - Cooking with Chillies
One-day cookery course
Some like hot, but theres more to chillies than just
feeling the burn. Cooking with chillies opens up a whole world
of flavour some of the most exciting cuisines use chillies
in a variety of forms from Mexican and Thai cooking to Szechuan
and South American. There are a huge variety of chillies each
one with its own distinctive shape and flavour from the mild
sweetness of the choricero to the searing fruitiness of the
habanero.

Your day starts at 9.30am and after a short health and safety
talk, we begin cooking. The course is almost entirely hands-on
so youll be involved with preparing dishes throughout
the day, from starters like hot chilli rellenos or the Thai
classic Tom Yam Goong to delicious fresh salsas and an amazing
chilli sorbet.

We use seasonal and organic ingredients sourced in Devon
wherever possible we even use a local farm for our
chillies however this means that course content can
vary slightly depending on the produce available to us. During
our one-day Hot Stuff chilli cookery course
well pass on the cooking techniques that you
can use at home, whether cooking with chillies or not.
