Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients:

450g plain flour
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn salt
200g unsalted butter
150g granulated sugar
75g Demerara sugar
300g plain dark chocolate pieces
2 eggs
75g chopped walnuts

Method:

1. Beat the butter and sugars until pale and fluffy and add the eggs slowly

2. Add the sieved flour, baking powder and salt

3 Add the chocolate and walnuts and chill

4. Roll into small balls onto silicone paper allowing room for spreading

5. Bake at 180°c until golden around the edges and a little soft in the middle

6. Remove from the oven and allow to set on the tray for a few minutes

7. Place on a cooling rack and store in an airtight tin
